The Arts Barge Project is seeking sponsorship from individuals and businesses who wish to support our unique and innovative work. 

In December 2012, after 5 years of operating within the community on a voluntary basis, the project received funding from the City of York Council for a barge-venue which will operate as a much needed hub for the project’s work.

This will provide an exciting, unique and highly visible space in the very heart of the city, one which is already attracting a significant amount of public and media attention.

During the process of renovation and refurbishment, the barge will feature regularly in the local and regional media and promises to retain its high profile well beyond the expected launch in 2013.

As well as benefiting from our developing media profile, sponsors will be supporting a well-regarded community arts project with a reputation which extends beyond York, into the region and nationally.

We have a joint Twitter, Facebook and subscription membership of over 1500 followers and our website receives upwards of 3000 hits per month.
