THE ARTS BARGE RIVERSIDE FESTIVAL 2016 was our fourth year of delivering the festival on this site in Tower Gardens. It has evolved into an annual five-day celebration of the York community coming together to enjoy the arts and celebrate the making of a new cultural centre on an old industrial barge – and encouraging use of our wonderful Rivers!

The Barge – Selby Tony – is now in Foss Basin awaiting conversion.

Due to having achieved planning permission in Feb 2017 – RIVERSIDE is on hold this year as we work to raise the funds to convert the barge for her new home at Tower Gardens! RIVERSIDE will be back!!

Here’s last year’s programme if you want to see what type of things to expect!
